Greenhouse gas management

To grasp the impact and influence of its operations on the environment, Apacer has carried out self-inspection of greenhouse gas emissions since 2013 to grasp the Company's status in greenhouse gas emissions accurately. Meanwhile, Apacer is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, aligning with the government's carbon reduction policies and international environmental protection trends. For relevant emission data, please refer to the annual performance.

Waste management

To effectively clean up waste and prevent waste from polluting the environment, Apacer actively promotes the reduction of waste in production while properly sorting the waste by category, recycling the waste and outsourcing waste disposal. Both general and hazardous industrial waste are entrusted to externally qualified companies for waste processing. At the same time, relevant management procedures are formulated to ensure the appropriateness and legality of waste disposal, and the responsible department conducts on-site audits at least once a year, depending on the needs. Where the audit results fail to meet the standards, the related vendors will be required to stop operations and make improvements within a time limit. Where the improvements fail to meet the requirements, the Contract with the vendor is to be terminated, and another qualified vendor is selected to fulfill the corporate responsibility in waste management. For the waste solution generated in production, liquid-proof tanks are installed in the eyewash equipment rooms and explosion-proof rooms to prevent chemicals from leaking into the drainage pipes.

Waste disposal: All the wastes produced by Apacer are entrusted to qualified companies for handling who lawfully handle waste disposal off-site according to the disposal methods of various industrial wastes. No waste disposal is handled on-site.
